I bought this as a component for a mineral soil mix for cacti and I’m very impressed. The particle size is a few mm exactly as described and is very clean, no sifting required. It’s much lighter than granite grit but not as light as perlite so it doesn’t wash away every time you water. The light structure helps airflow through the medium and also contributes to water and nutrient holding capacity, while not weighing the pot down overly. I also use it as a top dressing because of how asthetic it is, turning a lovely dark colour when wet. I do wish there was a red version, but for what’s listed this is perfect!

Thanks for quick delivery and such a quality excellent item. I have never used lava rocks before but it seems my plants love it. I have used it for my cactus and also for my other plants, absorb and drain the water very well, results were noticeable shortly after I replanted my plants, they were back to life again, roots now can get more air and there is no risk of being waterlogged again. using it in my succulent mix ,seems ok , time will tell.

I will be using this product for my Bonsai compost. The product looks good hence the stars but cannot confirm as to its use until some time after using it.

This too far too long to deliver, over a month. Nothing need take that long.

Excellent product, swift delivery. I used it as aquarium gravel, works well. It is rather dusty though and needs a lot of rinsing.

Will have a better idea of results when plants grow for a year.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität, haben nun sämtliche Größen und zum Mischen von Substraten ist es bestens geeignet. Kaufen nur noch hier, Qualität top,muss deutlich kürzer ausgespült werden als andere, extrem schnell geliefert. Sehr gut!

Hervorragende Qualität,kein Sand sondern Steine ab 1mm beginnend,optisch gut für Kakteen geeignet.Als 25kg Gebinde recht preiswert!Sehr zu empfehlen.......Danke#bla,bla,bla.....#

Utilisée pour ajouter au substrat des cactus et succulentes, on est souvent déçu par la granulométrie aléatoire, avec ce produit, aucune mauvaise surprise.
