Super bright and doesn't use bulbs!
This light fixture is amazing. It's super lightweight, super bright and I'll never have to buy a bulb for it.(Note: This is a hardwired fixture. You connect it to your house circuits, it doesn't plug in.)I have about 8 fluorescent light fixtures in my basement. I decided to replace one of the fixtures because the electronics (probalby the ballast) had gone bad and no bulb would light in it.Some of my fixtures still have the old style fluorescent bulbs, some I've replaced with LED bulbs - the T8 bulbs that look like old fluorescent style, but are filled with LEDs.This fixture was easy to install because there was almost nothing inside. There are some wires, an electronic controller that you can hardly notice, two strips of LED elements - AND **NO BULBS**. No *sockets* for the bulbs. And those LED bulbs or old fluorescent bulbs, THEY AIN'T CHEAP. This fixture doesn't use any bulbs. And by the time the LED elements burn out, I won't be around to see them. As far as I'm concerned, this is a lifetime light fixture. The elimination of bulbs makes this fixture super lightweight. It's extremely easy to hold the entire fixture with one hand while wiring or turning screws with the other.Beyond that, to my amazement, this fixture with its built-in LED lighting elements, is much brighter than my old fluorescent bulbs or my LED replacement bulbs. And no flicker and no dimming. Like most LED lights, it takes about one second to light up, but then it's there - super bright and dependable AND NO BULBS to replace. This fixture is amazing and I'll be replacing the other 7 fixtures in my basement over the next year. This light fixture is a winner! Look no further.

Great light
I had to replace my old florescent light fixture. I threw a dart and picked this one from the selection available. Wow, did I get lucky. This was super easy to install. The LED lights are incorporated in the fixture. They are really bright. The price was unbeatable. I highly recommend this item if you are replacing any lighting!

Pretty decent, inexpensive fixture
I purchased the 4' fixture with three "wattages" and three color temperatures. It is now installed over a workbench in my basement area and provides plenty of diffuse light. This was just what I was hoping for and it came at a very reasonable price. One of the reasons that I selected this fixture was that it provided a 3000K color temperature choice, matching some other downlights in the same area. After installing and trying the different settings I ended up preferring the middle, 4000K setting. To satisfy my curiosity I made some comparative measurements with a light meter and wattmeter. I say comparative since my light meter and method of measurement was inadequate to ensure an absolute accurate reading. But it was useful to compare the settings. I found that the middle 4000K setting produced the most light and also had the highest efficiency. At 6' directly below the fixture, the meter showed 653 lux and the power consumption was 62W. The lowest power setting only drew 44W but produced 501 lux. I do trust my wattmeter, so the maximum 66W drawn at 5000K, brightest setting is below the specified 75W. Perhaps the LEDs are more efficient since the spec was written, or possibly the light output is down by that amount. In any case, these are just numbers and there is not that much difference between them, so just choose the settings that you prefer.I might note that the wiring access is pretty standard: one 1/2" KO centered on the back of the fixture, and one on each end. When received I noticed rattling in the box. This turned out to be the screws and plastic wall anchors that had fallen out of the plastic bag, and were knocking about inside the fixture among all the exposed LED chips. The manufacturer might take some better precautions with that packing, but in my case it caused no problem.

Bright Light
My old fluorescent lights went out. I tried universal LED bulbs and they didn't work. I assumed the ballast went bad so decided to change over to LED. I have it at its highest settings since I do a lot of tinkering in my garage. This light was super easy to install and is very bright. I am very satisfied with the light. There is one thing I would change about the light. When you wire it you can see the bundle of wiring when light is on. I taped my connection to the body of the light to minimize it. If the wiring isn't affixed to the center, then a shadow could be cast by the light.

Incredibly bright light, mounting/wiring options focus
Upfront... super happy about the brightness of the lights and how very simple they are to mount IF you are willing to modify. To explain, the way the fixture is setup, there are two strips of LEDs, white and yellow on each strip, that are mounted onto a thin, white cardboard cover that hides the wiring and acts as a reflector. That cover limits access to possible mounting holes. The screw holes for a round ceiling box are also not easily accessible. So, I ended up drilling through the small gap between the two LED strips to create my own mounting holes. BE CAREFUL because you do not want to have that screw to touch an LED module or the delicate LED strip. The cover comes off the unit relatively easy, however, going back on is a bit more of a challenge, though once on, it is VERY secure. Finally, there is a 1-2 second delay from power on to light on and that is probably the just the ballast being less expensive making the unit overall more affordable. While this might sound like a lot of negatives, I truly couldn't be happier about the packaging to prevent damage, the amount of light these produce, the actually noticeable difference in color and strength of those optional switches. I chose these to replace fluorescent light and it is such a positive change. Truly thrilled with the end result even with the mounting considerations.
