Colour Name:Black PrimaSELECT PETG is a new and extremely tough material, it has very high impact strength, good flexibility and practically no shrinkage. PrimaSELECT PETG is a hydrophobic (does not absorb water) filament with a high gloss. Prima Filaments offers two versions of PETG. Translucent and solid. With the translucent you will have a high gloss and almost completely transparent print depending on your shell count. The solid colours offers a vivid and beautiful surface with a high gloss finish. PrimaSELECT PETG is a glycol modified PET which means that it has even higher clarity, stiffness and toughness than regular PET. PrimaSELECT PETG is the perfect addition for you filament collection. It has many unique features which makes it one of the most versatile filaments in our portfolio. Regardless of what your print is, PrimaSELECT PETG will deliver. You can make beautiful prints in "vase mode" with more than 90% light transmission and almost no haze. If you are looking for a very tough filament with high impact strength and some flexibility this is your choice. Another great benefit with PrimaSELECT PETG is the fact that it is FDA approved for both food contact and storage. Tip: experiment with speed and heat to get various results when it comes to surface finish and transparency. PrimaSELECT PETG has very good interlayer adhesion which makes it extremely easy to print with. You don´t need a heated build plate, but if you have it we suggest that you use a temperature around 45-60 ˚C Our state of the art factory is equipped with the latest in laser measuring technology to ensure that you will receive a spool of filament with a very tight diameter and roundness tolerance. Spool Size 200 mm x 55 mm, hub diameter 53 mm

Prints well but can be very stringy.
Usually Prima Select filaments are pretty good but this PETG is seriously stringy in my Prusa i3 Mk3S and leaves a spiders web of fine threads all over the print job. This means a lot of post-print clean up is necessary. I have never had a jam or other blockage using this material and may be there is a setting such as the temp that needs winding down a little from the other PETG suppliers products, however for now it is a fall back material rather than my primary choice.

I trust this PETG
Consistent results with this PETG, have tried clear, black, and silver so far (with silver being my go-to filament for most tasks). I print this fine on my Prusa MK2.5s throught the MMU2s multi material add-on. NOTE: this filament needs very little fan, I have mine set at 15% low and 30% high and bridging, you do get some stringing but not any more than any other filament tbh. I print with 65°C on the bed and 235°C on the nozzle, but please be aware that this is because I have a hardened steel nozzle, 225-230 should be better for brass nozzle. It also appears to last quite a while in the open without too much deterioration due to moisture. When switching between PLA and this PETG I would load this into the nozzle at 215 degrees and then print at 225-235, the reason is that 235 degrees will carburize the old PLA filament in the nozzle and block it (I learned this the hard way and had to partially disassemble my hotend to clear it out).

Worth the price
Prints very nicely, better than most other filaments I have printed (i've tried most of the cheaper brands here on Amazon). I'm not sure that its necessarily worth the extra cost for me personally because most of the stuff I print is functional parts so surface quality isnt too important. If you need a very nice surface finish on a part then I would recommend Prima.

Not a bad PETG though perhaps this would perform better on an all metal hot end. Nevertheless it seems to print fine, pushing my PTFE lined MK8 to 240c. There's a bit more stringing as to be expected from a PETG, this causes some slight issues with filament collecting and burning on the side of the nozzle and being deposited in the print, though perhaps this is more of a printer/slicer setting issue than the filament itself. Nevertheless, not a bad starting point for those wishing to venture into PETG, just remember to slow your print speeds right down, I find 20mm/s to be pretty slow, but produces cleaner results.

Easy to use, great filament.
Ordered this along with my very first 3D printer, the Anycubic i3 Mega. Delivers next day with Amazon Prime and came in a box, with the filament in a vacuum sealed bag. The box and the spool inside have recommended temperature settings on them for printing, however the temperature range is quite broad and I found that I had to do quite a few trial prints before I found a satisfactory setting. I print at 235 degrees on the extruder, with the heatbed at 80 degrees. Both right at the upper end of the temperature range, but these give me a nice even print and the results are fabulous. The filament itself has a nice metallic finish to it and is quite a light colour, but the results are great. This filament will definitely be on my list when the current spool runs out.

Prima PETG Blue Transparent
Really liking Prima Filaments. I have tried so many other brands now and none have matched the quality of the Prima Filaments. The PETG is a little difficult to print with and does suffer from a little stringing like most do, but not excessively. Prints look great though and quite transparent. Vases look fantastic. Had to print slower than I normally would. Prefer PLA as it's less hassle, but if you want to print with PETG then you can't go wrong with this.

Once dialled in its amazing
Being fairly new to 3d printing i bought this filament for my ender 3 pro after treading all the great reviews. Took me several attempts to get any adhesion to the magnetic build plate on the E3Pro. But once you have it printing the filament is quality. I had to bump my temps for the hot end all the way to 250 and the BP to 85 for this filament to work. but its stunning once its working.

Perfect for Prusa I3 Mk2s!!
Printed nearly half roll now on my Prusa I3 Mk2s. Bed adhesion is perfect with no warping and releases when cooled. Very strong material, no bubbles, no clogged nozzles. Printed at 220c with a bed of 85c. Standard profile with some slight tweaking was all that was needed!
