worked like a charm. used to secure brass round rods for drilling and tapping from the end without marring.

Good for most uses
These table vice components are suitable for a lot of needs where a softer than steel grip is required. The magnets are strong enough to hold most items for individual applications. In any one situation you need a certain amount of grip versus the requirement you not break or distort the item being held. It can't be said these will cover every need, but they will suffice most of the time. Neat, practical and good value.

Great vise pads for working on more delicate items.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fit my vise perfectly and they performed exactly as I needed. Protected some more delicate items from the all metal jaws on my vice. Would definitely recommend. I also didn't realize how useful the blue set would be in holding things. For example, I used the circular notched cutout to hold a hose I needed to repair and it was a gamechanger. Highly recommend these if you have a 4.5" vise like I do.

Worth the price
Plastic is fairly soft but I guess thats whole point. Magnets do a good job of holding it in place. I've used many times and will buy again if needed.

Great vise jaw pads for brass instrument repair
These vise jaw pads work well for holding my trumpet repair tools. The grooved pads securely hold mandrels, rollers, and dent repair rods of various diameters either horizontally or vertically without marring. The other pads hold my wooden assembly mandrel.

Good material Clamps well - important design flow
Material is good design is flawed once you mount these adapters they will take away 1.75'' of jaw opening capacity of your vise so my 4.5'' vise is now 3.25'' and number of wood blanks no longer fit. For larger ones I will use no clamps and wooden shims as I have from the dawn of time. These adapters are too chonky, probably because they needed to put 2 large magnets per each to be secured on the vise, should made thinner adapters but more shorter magnets. Overall works great when works so meh.

Nice soft jaws.
Sure is nice to finally get some vice soft jaws. I sure like the magnets that hold the soft jaws in place.
