The media could not be loaded. Everything worked as it should. Wiring was easy with the included instructions. Remote pairing is simple. For the price, this is a good buy…However, I don’t love how the board is just floating inside the plastic housing as this could cause a shock and vibration related failure in the future. When I heard something moving in the plastic housing, I CAREFULLY cut the housing open with my dremel. Fortunately, there were no screws that came loose which was my initial concern since they could short the board when powered. I added some RTV to the board to keep it from moving and then RTV’d the housing lid section back on. Works perfect and should be safe from road vibrations in the future, now. For the price, this is acceptable, but it should be corrected…

I installed this on a 2022 cfmoto zforce 800 trail. I broke into the vehicle side of the wired remote harness. Used some test leads to do a test connection, figured out which wires needed to connect to the vehicle wiring. The receiver is wired hot so it will be on continuously. I did not test the current draw, wish I would've. But, it can't be much and the cfmoto needs a battery tender connected all the time anyway. If I find it to be too high I'll wire in a disconnect. The remotes use 2 aaa batteries and have a power on/off button. Also, the remote will automatically power off after 2 min 30 seconds. I did wire it so that the wired remote is usable. Very happy with this purchase.

A friend gave me a Tractor Supply ATV winch and I mounted it in the bed of my pickup truck. I needed a safe way to load my toys. The ATV winch only came with a wired toggle switch and a handlebar mount. That, of course, was not going to fly for a truck bed winch. I found this kit on here and liked how it comes with two remotes. Installation was very easy. Instructions are included and tell you which wire on the wireless receiver does what. Using my Power Probe (very handy investment for anyone who does frequent electrical work), I sent power to my winch’s contactor to figure out which wire was in and which one was out and made the proper connections between the contactor and receiver. Both remotes came already paired to the receiver with batteries already installed. Turned the power on to my winch and it worked flawlessly. Winched my tractor in and out with no loss of communication or other issues. Will update if it burns out prematurely.

I bought this last year when it had zero reviews and finally got around to installing it. I couldn't be happier, and it appears 70 others love it too!!My experience with an old HF remote was that there was a huge lag. Not so with this one, I couldn't tell the difference between it and my corded remote!! Even the high dollar HF APEX winch remote isn't this fast.I was able to fit the control box inside the remote end of my XD9000i winch but it was pretty tight with four solenoids. Going to a contactor would make it fit fine.I'm sure there is a tiny bit of draw, since my winch is hot at all times. Really should have a cutoff on it, but I don't. My volt meter said 0.00A, so it's less than .005A I'm guessing. Shouldn't be a problem unless I let the Jeep sit for weeks...Yeah, you have to figure out the wiring, it's not plug and play. Red is hot, black is ground, yellow is IN and white is OUT. The blue wire is the antenna. If you've got an older Warn with a three wire remote, it's really easy. If you have a five wire remote, GTS, it's still pretty easy.

Well built. I added this to my dump trailer so I don't have to get off the tractor when I get to where I'm going. Works great so don't limit the possibilities to only a winch.
