Mellow Naturalista Classic 16 Inch Solid Wood Platform Bed with Wooden Slats, Cherry, Queen

I have slept on this bedframe for just about 3 months at the time of my review and am very pleased with it. This wooden bedframe caught my attention because of it's price, being wood instead of metal, and for it's simple design. Most of what is available at this price tends to be cheap, tubular metal bedframes, while this is a solid wooden one. Once I received it, it was easy to put together. The directions are straightforward and the pieces are shaped to only fit together in the correct way. All the pieces were well finished - they were sanded smooth and fit together well.After it was assembled, the bedframe feels very solid. No noises or rocking. The bedframe is sturdy and quiet when getting into bed, out of bed, or when rolling over from side to side. After about a month I pulled my mattress back off to check all the bolts holding it together, and I was happy to see none of them had loosned, which is a good sign for it's long-term durability.Other reviews had mentioned concerns with the slats being too far apart for their mattress but I have not had any issues. My mattress is a pocketed coil mattress and even while laying on the bed my mattress only slightly sags between them.Overall I am completely satisfied with this bedframe. It looks and feels nicer than it's price, and so far has been completely sturdy and quiet.

I ordered the full sized bed frame in the pine color. It’s very warm, the color is most accurate in the photo where you can see the power strip (and dog).I assembled it by myself and got it done in 40 minutes working slowly. I totally disregarded the ratchet allen wrench that was included lol. That would have saved me a lot of time, but I have it now for future Ikea furniture assembly lol.When I started I did try to use the split lock washer, but the screws are not long enough to securely join the pieces if you use that washer. So I ditched them and assembled the bed with just the plain flat washers and screws. That seemed to work fine.One of the middle legs is slightly shorter than the others so I just put it in the middle of the center support beam.You’ll see the leg in the first photo has a little bit of a gap. I turned the leg a little bit and it’s gone now.I appreciate that they split the slats into two “pieces” so you don’t have to carry all of them at once. I don’t like that there’s so much space between the frame and the first slag, but that’s personal preference. My slats are separated 3 inches apart.No squeaking so far.I’ll update this review if I have to do any additional tightening or adjustments or if there are any changes.It’s the perfect height for my dog to scratch/massage her own back so 5 stars just for that.

I’ve assembled dozens of beds, dressers, and nightstands from ikea and Amazon. Out of every piece of furniture I’ve assembled this was the highest quality and easiest. The added tool they give you is a really nice touch. The Velcro on the slats keeps them very secure. The hardware and the wood goes together so easily. The wood also smells really nice. For the price, looks, and ease of assembly, this is a really nice value. So far is noise free and very sturdy feeling. Two pieces of advice, when assembling the slats, put the last slat opposite of the hole all the way at the end of the Velcro, and then stretch the slat with the hole all the way, this will make sure the slats use up all the space and stay even. When putting the rubber feet on, wait until you put the bed right where you want it. Sliding the bed on carpet pulls them off (my mistake).

Just got this. I had to take it piece by piece from porch to 2nd floor, I'm a 57yr female. I put this together by myself. It was very easy to put together. The ratchet wrench came with kit(which I'm using for everything) I only had one issue with one inner screw on the legs. It was difficult to push it in with the ledge (for slats) in its way. But once I pushed it in, it screwed no issues. Seems very sturdy. I have Brazilian Cherry wood floors, and the color Cherry works well with it. Will update with use.

So the frame is great. Love the color, very sturdy. Extremely easy to put together. The only issue I had is the first frame came with completely wrong pieces. The instruction packet says to contact the manufacturer directly so I did. Just for them to say they don’t have individual pieces to send so I need to contact Amazon to get a replacement. That was just a waste of time and now I have a whole huge frame I have to send back. However, Amazon was amazing with helping me get the replacement. They are doing a home pick up at no extra cost because of the situation. Definitely glad I went with the 12in because I would not be able to get on a bed frame any taller since I’m only 5’2! Overall, the frame itself is great!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bed frame! Solid wood, very clear instructions, and sturdy but lightweight enough for one person to assemble easily. I had a much more expensive bed frame from IKEA that was not nearly as well constructed- it literally fell apart from being assembled and reassembled after moving. I can tell that this will last for a long time and be easy to bring with me through any future moves!

Love this bed frame! It came packaged really well and was delivered earlier than I expected. Assembly was super easy. It came with the tools we needed and all the parts. I love the look and sturdiness. It has steel in the center brace as well. Would recommend, especially for the price! $220 🙏🏼Would like to add, all of the styrofoam is enclosed in plastic which I LOVE!! I can’t count how many times have I ordered something large and had to tear down styrofoam and also clean up the pieces that fly/stick. Hands down people first company

I recently got this bed frame and it took longer for me to break down my old frame then it was to put this one together, by myself. It looks great and I'm very happy with it. It's nice to sleep on a solid frame and not be afraid it will collapse as my old frame did, many times. No more. I rarely leave reviews so please know that if I'm leaving one now, it's because this really is a great deal and an awesome platform bed frame.
