Easy to put on, Easy to Remove, Not as Dirty. Work just as well as Chains and are Legal.

They work, but really only for a couple of hours of driving then they rapidly deteriorate. Pretty easy to install. Harder to remove once they freeze to the tires of the car. They got me over Donner Summit safely but after that they could maybe be used once more only before they'd be too shredded to reuse again.

I have to start by saying that I have not yet used these. I want these in my car "just in case" I needed them on a trip where snow was a possibility. I had a set of more traditional chains that are much more difficult to put on, and in fact the size that was supposed to fit, did not. What I like about these, if you watch the videos, is how incredibly easy they are to install, and how easy they are to keep in the car. Here in California there are roads where you must have chains available, and these qualify.

Quick to install and uninstall, and lasts if you use it properly as the instructions say
