Great Binder that Every Kid Should Own
The headline says it all. It's a great binder, and every kid should own one. This binder has helped my two middle school boys tremendously. It taught them to be organized (and one kid was extremely disorganized). They can keep subjects separate. The binder holds multiple notebooks, folders, dividers, supplies, even some textbooks (the thinner ones, not the huge textbooks we lugged around as kids). My kids literally carry all subjects in this one binder. They no longer have to stop at their lockers in between classes and rush to class. Yes, it does get heavy if you're loading all subjects into this binder, but it is worth it and my kids have never complained. They absolutely love it, and other friends have asked where we get this so they can also get for their kids! It's really great, because it zips shut so nothing falls out, even if you store pencils or markers in it. The binding is very sturdy, and has lasted all year. I do switch it out at the beginning of the new school year and buy a new one. Not because the old one broke, but just because some edges can get frayed, and my kids enjoy starting each year with a fresh clean binder. Please buy this for your kids if they're in middle school. It is a life saver.

Great for a semester
My son is in Junior High and you can’t have backpacks in classes so I have been buying these like they are going out of style for the past couple years. Actually, I buy one each semester because kids are hard on their stuff and some days I feel like it sees more time as a frisbee than its actual purpose. My son has 7 classes a semester and it is perfect for those, his agenda and pencil bag/calculator. It’s also has a nifty strap for him to use so he can be cool and not have to actually hold it. Definitely worth the semester cost

With this, you won't need a back pack.
My son, who is in the 6th grade, had a hard time carrying his supplies to each classroom. He said he wanted a trapper keeper of some sort, but our local stores didn't really have much of a selection. So I bought one of these for him and his sister, who is the the 5th grade. I knew these were designed for large capacity, but I was still surprised at how big they were when they arrived. I was a little nervous that it may be overkill.I quickly realized that wasn't the case. My daughter was able to store her computer mouse and ear buds in hers and conveniently reach for them when needed. My son was able to replace the need for his back pack altogether at school. They use it for everything.I wish I would have bought this before the school year as a lot of the school supplies they needed are actually built in to the "trapper keeper". The kids prefer using this over several of the other school supplies they already had.And on another positive note, they both received compliments on their trapper keeper from some classmates!I highly recommend this for anyone who has a kid in 5th or 6th grade. Like I said, buy it before the beginning of the year and you'll save money on school supplies, like a backpack, a 3 ring binder, tab dividers, and pencil bags. If they take care of them, they can just use them again next year!

Super Expensive but Durable
I used to purchase these for $12-$13 in store. This year in store they were $25+. My son doesn't use a backpack and these usually last him 6 months+I'm not happy with the price increase overall but my son likes them. This one is better made than the cheaper ones you now find in store.
