keeps my coffee warm
The size is perfect for my larger mugs yet also good for my regular size ones. Perfect size and weight and nice color

Exactly what I wanted.
This silicone lid is a little larger than most, which is perfect for my favorite mug (which is at least 16 oz and 4" in diameter). It creates a snug seal that keeps dust and bugs from getting in my coffee (though I wouldn't bank on it keeping the coffee from spilling if the mug was knocked over - that's not its purpose) and, when used in conjunction with my ancient cup warmer, keeps the liquid actually HOT - something that the warmer itself can't quite do on its own. It's extremely easy to clean and is quite sturdy. Just be careful when peeling it off the cup to get a drink - the steam from the hot liquid will form a condensate on the underside and it can be a bit drippy. Don't do it over your keyboard, for example, or any electrical/electronic item that could be harmed by water.

Hot Coffee
Condensation collects and drips when lifted off cup. I use this on an Ember cup and it keeps my coffee hot. A/C blows on my cup and the cover works great to keep it hot. Love it.

FINALLY exactly what I was looking for
I've read that covering your tea helps preserve more of the aromatic, flavor, and healthy compounds. It also just keeps it warmer longer and prevents dust from getting in. I wanted something that wouldn't mold like wood, that wouldn't chip my mugs like ceramic or metal, and that would be dishwasher safe and food safe/non-reactive. I also needed it to be at least 4 inches in diameter because I have some very large tea mugs. These were a little more expensive than I wanted, but they were absolutely perfect. I searched for a LONG time and couldn't really find anything that was just a plain and simple sleek design, and wasn't absurdly expensive. These keep the heat in very well. The only thing I don't like is that they show water stains a lot. We have softened water but it still leaves some mineral deposits on the silicone that are hard to get off. I also do wish they were a bit thicker and sturdier, like a coaster, but the flexibility does give them a slight suction that seals everything in.Highly recommend

Fits large mug
This is not big enough for a soup mug, but fits my 16oz coffee mug very well.Very easy to clean, very close fit to rim of mug to the point of a bit of suction. Very good quality. i’ll be using it outdoors while having my latte to keep the little critters out & to keep out other airborne debris which would like to share my drink. It seemed a bit pricey, but i think i’m getting my money’s worth.

Carrotez 2 Pack Silicone Cup Cover Lids - Only Ok for Keeping Coffee warm
This review is for the Carrotez 2 Pack Silicone Cup Cover Lids - my overall experience is average using these lids to keep coffee warm. They only do an average job. And they are relatively expensive at $5 each ($10 for 2 pack). I think using them to reheat food in a microwave, they will work fine and their size is well suited for smaller containers. But I don't like to mix lids for reheating food with ones I use with my coffee.
