I heat my house with a wood fireplace insert, and the creosote buildup is the bane of my existence. I used to spend so much time and elbow grease every couple days scrubbing the black gunk from the insert window until I discovered this product.After just a couple of days, my fire burned much hotter, and the creosote buildup on the glass burned itself off. I continued using as directed for the rest of the season, and I never had buildup on my glass again! This is some sort of magical sorcery, and every fireplace owner needs it in their life.

i wasn't sure of it, but it does do what it says. i run a camera up my chimney regularly, and it has been cleaner. glass on my stove stays cleaner longer too. be sure to clean the creosote out as it drops in little pieces and mixes with the ash. seem like a good value, and good quality.

This stuff really works in our home for our stove. We burn all through the winter and after you use this product within the day you can tell it dries up the creosote build up. It helps you be put at ease your keeping your stack not flammable. I am a regular purchaser of this item

I haven’t inspected the chimney since using it, but I have noticed much more creosote buildup accumulating in the door and around the interior of the lower part of the fireplace so I’m assuming that it’s being busted from the inside of the chimney and falling down. I would recommend this product. I typically use two caps.

I use it in my old parlor heater and it seems to work as I haven't had any chimney fires.

Amazon had products that were not available from the Big Box stores. I had a problem with my chimney blocking up. After trying the so called creosote logs, I still had to climb on my roof to clean the chimney. A friend of mine with the same furnace, told me about a cleaning device he purchased on Amazon. I ordered one and expect it tomorrow. Can’t wait to get my furnace back up and running.
