Great for upgrading a standard Dell PC with an aftermarket GPU.
I usually purchase this adaptor so that I can install a big GPU in a off the shelf Dell PC. Works great. Also good for you if you just wanna use a dell motherboard in a custom PC build.

It works. No error codes, no melted wires, no fried MOBO.. Just turns a 24 pin into an eight pin. Works perfectly.

Perfect adapter for Dell proprietary harness
My mom’s old Dell power supply died, I had a spare.Unfortunately I couldn’t just use that due to Dell using proprietary (or at least non-standard) connectors!Thanks to this adapter I was able to use what I had to fix the problem, rather than having to buy a power supply from Dell, or a used one for an inflated price from a third party vendor!
