Kalalou CRL5134 Bedside Water Carafe and Drinking Glass, One Size, Green

I bought 4 of these as water decanters for our guest house. We live in Hawaii so I liked the idea of the small glass covering the opening of the bottle so that bugs can’t get in when not in use. Saying I love this is an understatement! It’s gorgeous and useful and a piece of art! There is an indentation for the lip of the drinking glass to fit in when it’s upside down on the bottle. The craftsmanship and beauty are amazing! I bought diatomaceous earth coasters/holders from Amazon as well to catch any drips. I looked at a bunch of these decanters and this was absolutely the best for beauty, functionality, and price! Buy it! It’s offered other places but cheaper on Amazon. (No one paid me for this review.😊)

Lovely. When I set the cup on top of the bottle I noticed that it wasn't level. The top of the bottle is a bit wonky. At first I found this imperfection annoying. Then I decided the imperfection is what makes it charming and unique. It's thick glass and a bit heavy which I like because it won't easily break.

I love this piece so much that I took it out of the bedroom and into my living area TV room -I may get another one for the guest bedroom. It's very pretty and looks like recycled glass. And I love the little water glass on top which happens to be a cover for the bottle...its just a good looking piece. And it makes a great gift.

This nightstand water jug is almost exactly what I was looking for. Something that is good looking, with a lid and a matching cup. In this case, the matching cup IS the lid. I love the look of it. It's heavier than expected but that makes me feel confident in it's sturdiness and less concerned about knocking it over in the middle of the night. There are only 2 things that keep me from giving it all 5 stars. One is that the neck of the bottle is very tiny and pretty much impossible to get any cleaning tool in it, so I would not recommend putting anything but water in it. I just squeeze a fair amount of soap in it, give it a good shake, and let it sit for an hour or 2 before rinsing it until all the bubbles are gone. Second thing being that it's handmade, the cup/lid doesn't actually sit flush on the top of the bottle, so mine is always cocked to the side a little. It bothers my OCD.

Much nicer way to have water available on the nightstand. Artsy, attractive, and effective. The little cup as a covering is a great way to keep dust out of the glass and critters out of the decanter. One thing to note: The opening of the decanter is small, so you may want to use a funnel…..depending on your pouring skills.

Attractive, substantial, but the cup doesn't sit very securely on top of the bottle, it's wobbly and crooked and rattley.

When this arrived, my first impression was the cup on top was small. It doesn't seem too practical to have a bedside for water. However, I had the idea to fill with mouthwash! The glass on top is perfect for a quick pour, swish & spit. Looks nice sitting next to sink as well.

Perfect for a nightstand. Very heavy. Made well. Definitely have to be careful with the glass on the bottle neck. Pouring into the small glass might be a slight problem LOL. Not 100% sure if it was factory made (I'm thinking yea). Also, it was packed well, arrived in one piece. Was shipped and received quickly. VERY HAPPY WITH IT.
