As a nurse this pen light is great! The white light is good for finding stuff and the soft warm yellow light is great for checking out my patients eyes without them feeling like I’m blinding them. I also really like that it’s rechargeable so I don’t have to work about replacing batteries.

I LOVE this light. I am a nurse and when I work night shift, having the dimmer option is perfect to check on patients without needing to wake, this option is awesome! And the brighter light, lights the whole room when needed. It is perfect! Charges last forever too! So having the button protection cover is ingenius! Wish I could have more colors with this option. Even the disposable battery ones; if you could add that advantage ! This last charge however, I'm a little concerned the blue charging light is not going out. We'll see what happens, but so far so good! I love this light anyway!!

I love this pen light. The batteries would always fall out of my other one or the battery would run out of power when I really needed it. What I really like is that there's a yellow light feature for assessing pupils. You dont have to worry with batteries because it's USB chargeable.

BUYER BEWARE: Find another brand. I bought mine in November 2024. It was used perhaps 4-5 times; it mostly sat in a closet, inside a bag with other medical devices. Today I pulled it because I needed it and found out it didn't work. The light now turns on only when the charging cable is connected and plugged into the wall. So the battery inside does not hold charge. So I would say that the durability of these unit is very weak. In terms of cost, they're cheap, but what's the point if you need to buy another one in 3, 5, 6 months. Just buy a better product.

I work in eye care, and this has become my go-to for pupil testing. Easy to use and lightweight. The cap makes sure it doesn’t turn on in my pocket, and the clip makes sure it doesn’t fall out. It’s a little on the dim side, but that works great for flinchy patients. I love that I don’t have to depend on batteries to keep it running. My last penlight became useless after a battery rusted inside it. Never going back to battery powered after this.

I'm a first year resident and this thing is perfect. It has a dim setting for dark rooms so I'm not blinding my patients, but also has a brighter setting for during the day.
