Is there additional hardware not shown in the photos to keep it from rattling?** A: It works great and looks awesome on my Jeep gladiator. Really sold and heavy metal build. There is no additional hardware to eliminate rattling. **Q: Why is the price so high compared to other similar metal steps?** A: That is a very hard question to answer. I can say that mine is very well-made, fits the 2 1/2 inch receiver perfectly, and is very well powder coated. I’ve been using mine on and off many times in the last six months, and the coating is still flawless.
