I only just got this, so I cannot yet speak to whether it is truly stainless, but I am happy with the apparent quality at this point. I bought the 5mm bead version, which I knew would be a lot bigger than ordinary pull chains. I am happy with my choice, because I like the look and feel of the larger beads.One thing I found though was that I needed to treat the connectors differently when connecting between smaller chains and this chain. For instance, if you want to use this with a light fixture, you cannot fully replace the smaller chain with a bigger chain as it would not fit through the hole of the mechanism -- at least in the case of my fixture, but I think that sizing is probably common. My solution was to use a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the end that attaches to the smaller chain. To be clear, I did not just squeeze the whole end at once. That might work, but I thought it would look better to bend in each corner of that end of the connector, so that one corner overlaps the other. That held quite firmly, and looks good.My only complaint at this point is that some of the connectors were hard to get apart from each other because they had become overlapped and sort of entangled in shipping. But it didn't take very long to get them apart.

I used some to make a chain for my small flashlight. Seemed decent quality and holding up well. Plenty of closures. Easy to use. The color stayed and did not tarnish after being around my neck for several days.

The product was as expected. I have used some of the material in craft project. I was happy with performance when working on the project. So far it standing up to the use of completed project in an outside environment.

Chain seems strong but small around. I didn't look at size of chain before I ordered, this is 2.0 mm so if you need small chain this is for you...

This arrived in 2 days. I needed a sturdy chain for “spoon” necklaces and this fit the bill. The price was right too after searching many options, the reviews impressed me the most on this one. The spool is plastic and stores it just fine. One review showed wire wrapped gem necklaces which I also do, so I knew this would be perfect for me! I will buy more when I run out. For sure. 👍

Very nice quality. I needed a couple of chains for bar-code tags. This chain and connectors made quick work of that. The chain seems pretty strong and the connectors require a bit of force to secure the chain. I like that and have high confidence accidental separation won’t be a problem.
