malfunction of one of the speaker
in October 2023 I bought Mitchell Streamgo Bluetooth speakers. Now, may 2024 one of the speakers automatically turns off when the volume increases to just over 50%.The battery is fully charged, there is no abnormal noise in the speaker.

Clean sound!
These speakers are excellent for any room in your home. It's very rare that you will find a portable wifi (stereo) speaker system in which you can take with you camping, backyard etc. As these may not produce a boomastic type of sound they do produce a very clean analytical sound at medium volume without turning your space into a club lol. At this price point I highly recommend!

Almost perfect
Beautiful quality speaker and they sound great but static galore!! Bluetooth has too much ground and static noise unfortunately ruining such a great product. I tried two different set and it has the same issue. I tried the manufacturer suggestion of resetting, but it didnโt help. I will be returning a set. I canโt however recommend this product.

Awfuk
The box came with a portion of a circuit board with a capacitor and pins (for a wall wart power supply??) and not with the Y USB cable that it was supposed to. Um, okaaay? I ordered a Y cable and charger and left it connected for 2 days to see if it would charge. The speakers would only power on while plugged in, which defeats the whole purpose of portable wireless speakers. When it would operate, it would disconnect shortly thereafter (and I couldn't find a way to toggle power/volume to reset). This happened repeatedly despite pairing, unpairing, and re-pairing ad nauseum. Just a completely unsatisfactory experience. I'm extremely disappointed.Update: Was grocery shopping this a.m. and saw a mini-Bluetooth speaker on sale and figured why not pick up 2 and see if they'll twin (for a grand outlay of $11.20). The boxes came with both USB and aux cables (nice touch). 3 hours to charge, 20 seconds to twin pair, and maybe 10 seconds to pair to phone. Pulled up Sirius/XM station and rock n roll, they work perfectly. End all in Fidelity, no, but not bad and zero hassle. Mitchell, it's not that hard, eh?

Mixed feelings on these right now.
* 1 star removed because of a surprising amount of disconnections and popping between the two speakers.I've used a LOT of speakers in the last few years, $650 Sony and LG party speakers, $400 Sonos Move speakers, sounders, Bose speakers, HomePods, HomePod Minis, $160 Backyard lawn speakers, and then a ton of junky $40-$90 speakers, etc, so I've had plenty of good and bad speakers over the past few years. These fall somewhere in the middle for sure. I think they sound really good, like surprisingly good for their size (though they're heavy as heck!) but frequent disconnections between the two speakers over Bluetooth has definitely dampened the experience a lot. When I want to listen to music at home I usually listen to a Sonos Move and a HomePod mini for a nice surround sound experience with some bass, and then on the move I listen to my Sonos Move by itself or just my Sony party speaker. These speakers are nice enough that I would definitely consider making these my "on the move" speakers, but only if the disconnection issues get better.Pros:The speakers are super small, compact, and sound great. They can get pretty loud and still have good quality sound. The way you pair the speakers over Bluetooth is GREAT because one is always set in Bluetooth mode and the other is always set in aux mode (to connect to the other speaker). I've had lots of issues with other speakers where they're supposed to multi-pair but you can't tell which one has already been connected to your phone, not an issue with these. There's very little buttons or confusing anything on these, just power, volume up and down, and play buttons on both, that's it.Cons:At least during my initial testing, I had about 4 or 5 pretty significant disconnects between the two speakers while I was listening to music. That being said, I did have a Steam deck downloading some games between them as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse there, so there could definitely have been some signal interference, but in my opinion I think speakers that can't function correctly when around a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse aren't really good speakers. The initial pairing process isn't super intuitive and you definitely have to read the instructions to get it. At least once you get it though you never have to do it again, so that's nice. All in all I like these speakers and think they sound great, but I'm going to have to keep using them for a bit and see if the connection issues I've been having get better or worse before I decide to make them a daily use speaker.Initially though, unless you really like this brand, for $400 I would probably look at some other options instead like the Sonos Move where you can get a heck of a good speaker without these disconnection issues (and with a lot more features) for the same price.
