Cicaplast Hand Cream for dry and chapped hands 50ml

It’s great for hands especially rough areas and works well and better than other products I’ve used. It is slightly greasy but soaks in well and I use overnight as well very impressed.

Since the beginning of “the Big C”, my once sturdy and time/element resistant hands began to exhibit redness and rashes with all the hand washing and anti-bacs we were ordered to use. It was brutal. My hands were peeling, itching, red and so painful. I developed dermatitis. Not pretty. I got some relief with an herbal remedy, but it did not clear it up completely. I tried lots of products over the two and a half years of “the Big C” (with varied results, Nursem came close) and I was still suffering bouts of dermatitis off and on. In yet another frustrating search I found this product. I bought it based on the reviews, not expecting much (as other products I had bought previously had also been favourably reviewed). Within one application, my hands felt instant relief. Within two days, all the pain and itching and redness was gone! Now, every time, my hands get irritated, I reach quickly for the tube of Cica Mains. This stops my reaction completely. (The smaller tube fits perfectly in one’s handbag for travel). Very effective product, indeed! Hope you find relief with this as well. Worth every penny and it won’t take a huge amount of applications to work its magic. Oily or not (one criticism someone had) it works. I found it to be a nice consistency and it was not oily on my hands at all. (Shake the tube before applying, maybe?)

I've tried many hand creams but since perimenopause, my hands have become so dry that even the usual Aveeno moisturising cream with colloidal oatmeal doesn't cut it anymore. Very pleased to try this Cicaplast hand cream because it surpasses Aveeno in its ability to moisturise very dry hands. I'm prone to eczema and my hands often break out in small patches of pompholyx, and I've found this cream very hydrating for the dry, pompholyx areas on my hand. It also has great longevity - hours after application, after several hand washes, I can still feel a thin layer of this product on my hands. It feels very thick and rich and just a tiny bit is enough for both hands. It also smells a lot nicer than the Aveeno even though it's fragrance free. Really a step up from Aveeno. One tube lasts me about 6 months.

I don’t write too many reviews unless I feel something is really worth shouting about and sharing. My hands don’t look dry or flaky etc, they look normal but I am on so many different medications it affects my skin and nails. I get thro SO many hand creams and I’m applying it literally every 15mins or so because I hate how irritable my hands feel because they feel so dry on the inside and the out. Most hand creams feel too light so the ones that usually suit me are the body butters from the body shop for extra dry skin but it gets so expensive. I use this brand for my facial skincare and lips and it’s always been the best and very trustworthy so I thought I would give their hand cream a try! I received it today and as soon as I applied it it was such a relief as I only need a tiny amount compared to what i normally would apply and the cream is lovely and thick and I applied it a couple of hours ago and that’s me only just needing to apply it again. I think this is going to last me so much longer than everything else I was using and I know and trust this brand to have excellent ingredients in it. This will definitely be my go to hand cream from now on😊 If you are like me and need a thicker cream then I highly recommend it! The quality is great!

This is the best hand cream I've tried (and I've tried a lot!), it seems a bit expensive but in fact a little goes a long way. If your hands are very dry, use Gloves in a Bottle at the start of your day and this Roche Posay one before bedtime and honestly your hands will be super soft within days. I use this cream before bedtime,, particularly in winter months, and it keeps any dryness at bay. It's not over greasy, it has no scent (a plus for me) and it feels like a tonic for hands the minute it goes on.
