A good product, easy to use and gives good results. The manufacturers packaging is as shown in the picture, but it comes in an Amazon box that's huge! So don't go thinking it'll fit through a typical letterbox. This is good aluminium brazing technology at an affordable price.

I like these - they take a little getting used to so please be prepared to sacrifice one to the training gods. No matter how many times you read it the key is : heat the base metal properly first. It then flows nicely and does what you want. Also take it slowly and multiple fill layers seems to work better on a vertical surface at least.

Seem to work ok for aluminium repairs

On thin aluminum it works very well, however I had to do a cylinder head and this was not successful. Because you have to heat the aluminum to the melting point of the rod on a large item this is very difficult.

Excellent product. Not cheap but worth the money to be able to make a decent repair.

Items dont look like the picture, items sent in a tube too short for the rods with the brush crammed in so the brushes ar pushed flat and not useable.then covered in packing tape.no evidence that these are original durafix product,only when I use them will I know,by then it will be too late for a refund.I have marked them down for this reason alone, the product if genuine may be good and therefore good value,if not I could have got them from China for a fiver.

Tried some 'less than optimal' products from other sources and did not hold out much hope for these.However - they do work and work very well.Certainly not inexpensive, but at least they do what they are supposed to do.

I've been using these on 20mm box section. It's my first time using anything like this but follow the instructions and watch a couple of videos on YouTube and and you'll get an OK looking joint. My efforts are getting neater the more I use them.I'll soon be attempting to fill some holes on my car bodywork. I am hopeful.
