TopeakSuper Tourist DX Tubular Rack with Side Bar

Really happy with this. It came with all the fittings (bolts and nuts) and instructions were easy to follow and install. It was good to see that with the rack came the tail light mount that fits 80mm wide rear lights. Well I absolutely love this rack...it`s lovely for the money. Previously I had a Tubus logo rack on a bike overseas and while that was incredibly strong it was also very costly. This rack has the same weight rating I believe so it`s amazing really. My only issue was that one of the rear side bars was slightly bent when it arrived...this must have happened during shipping. This can happen, the Tubus rack got damaged once during a flight so they`re not invincible. I straightened it out and used the rack recently for a fully loaded weekend trip..worked very well with no problems.

Lightweight but strong and firm. Fitted easily and quickly on my Gtech City bike. I use it with the Mtx shopping box which is great for shopping. Just slide the box off, shove it in a trolley, fill it full of food, pay, slide it back on. I could also add pannier bags to this if I wanted. My last one mounted on the seat column but those waggle around a bit, this is very firm making the whole bike nice to ride , even when fully loaded.

Excellent product. In fact I bought two in the end, one for my bike and one for my wife’s. Bought the rack bag that clips in to place, excellent design and quality. Simple to mount.

This is a great product and exactly what I wanted. It was straightforward to fit - replacing an old rack - but the instructions were rubbish. A bit of common sense and perseverance is required! The main challenge for me was having the courage of my convictions to bend the supporting struts! But it works great!

The rack is good but I also bought the Topeak bag and I am disappointed because it rattles and that I understood was the value of the mounting system that the bag would be secure and rattle free

Bit fiddly to fit to bike but once on it's gonna be perfect for my road trip

A sturdy rack at a good price. Easily fitted and should carry any load that I need it to. It was a bit heavier than I expected. Good quality, maybe the rear light fitting could be a bit more "universal"? I have a number of Topeak items and find them all good quality and generally fit for purpose. No other downside (yet) otherwise worth a 5 star review.
