Maybelline New York Face Studio Master Prime Makeup - Blur plus Redness Control

This product is brilliant for evening out skin tone and disguising any redness. It’s perfect if you don’t want to use foundation but do want to camouflage any imperfections. However, this particular product made my face sting. Which is odd because I use a very similar product by the same company and have no problems with it. I did wonder why there were two versions so am guessing they each have slightly different ingredients.

The primer has cream like consistency. After application it feels smooth and moisturized. Foundation applys really well with this primer. I'm really happy to have tried this primer for the first time and it worked for me.

I have red, blotchy skin which I hate. I'm not fond of lots of concealer and foundation but I thought I'd give this product a try to see if it made me any happier with my face. One review mentioned she even liked using it when she did not put on foundation. That's what I've been doing and I'm thrilled. No, it doesn't cover up all the red. However, it does exactly what it says -- it BLURS. My skin looks less red and smooth and even. It's a keeper for me.

Quality is very good. Redness is gone.

I bought this product for a quarter of what I have paid for other primers and I have to say that this product gives a better result. Light weight, good coverage and has a mattifying effect. I have not noticed any "blurring" but it does tone down the red from my acne scars. Will definitely buy this product again.
