Sugarflair Spectral Chestnut Concentrated Food Colouring Paste 25g

I needed very little, so will last ages

Used for colouring fondant icing on Christmas Cake to make deer. Good thickness and easy to work with first class results. Note the chestnut is quite a light brown.

These Sugarflair colours are great. Thick paste adds very concentrated colour (apply to your icing or fondant using a cocktail stick) but doesn't wet the icing or change it's consistency.The chestnut brown is an almost terracotta colour when used sparingly but in larger amounts it coloured my fondant to a rich, deep chocolate brown. I wanted a light and a dark brown for the cake I was decorating and this one pot did the job perfectly.I coloured quite a lot of fondant and there is still about 2/3 of the pot left. Came off my hands easily with soap and water.

Colour wasn't as easy to use as expected because you need quite a bit to get a good brown on white paste but good quality.

I loved the color and it was easy to use. My cake was beautiful with this color.
