Thule 985000 Fatbike Wheel Straps, Size XXL

Work great easy fit, could do with been a bit shorter but work great

First I must say these were a pain to fit to the Thule Euro classic 929 cycle rack. These straps are excellent but not really designed to fit the bike rack that I own, so I had to make them fit, by removing the plastic 'shoe' from the cycle rack and drilling and bolting the straps to the shoe, using M5 x 30 bolts and nylock nuts. Again getting the rack apart and back together was a real pain, so if you don't have some good practical skills you will struggle. Once fitted, the new longer straps work perfectly.....very long straps that easily fit more modern longer wheel base mountain bikes / ebikes. Just what I needed. 👍 PS Thule need to make the standard straps in a longer length and that would of made this whole process a lot lot easier.

Superb for upgrading your thule bike rack for ebike fitment. Worth noting that if you have an older thule rack then you will need to modify these using a dremel and other tools to get them to fit.

This is for fatbikes or if you have a longer wheel-base like on an Endurance bike. It took 2 min to replace. Make sure you have some thread-lock handy.
