It's a beautiful keychain, but fair warning it is NOT engraved. I thought the words were engraved but they are just printed on. That means that ultimately once the protective plastic is removed, the compass will eventually swing and scratch the words off. How long that will take I'm not sure, as I bought this as a gift for a friend who lives across the country. I'm going to take the chance because she will love the gesture nonetheless, and if I'm wrong about the longevity I'll update this review to 5 stars! However, I do think the seller should disclose this in the ad. It came very well packaged, with protective plastic over the words, keychain then placed inside a smaller ziploc bag, and then inside a gift box.

I got this for a friend of mine who moved to a different state. She absolutely loved it and I have had other people ask me where I got it so they can get one as well :)While the box arrived so damaged it looked like it had been hit against a few times with a baseball bat (thanks Amazon lol), there was no scratches or dents at all on the keychain. It was perfect.

This was a gift for my friend who lives 10+ hours away. I was pleasantly surprised because it is very nice and not cheap at all. It comes with a little removable cover plus wrapped in plastic and in a cute little box. I would 100% recommend.

There was no dislike in the Keychain. It was gift for my friend and she was very pleased. She di not have Keychain and really needed one.

I bought this for my best friend who lives 610 miles away from me and shipped it to her after I was able to wrap it for Christmas. When it arrived I opened it to check it and it was very well made! The picture does it no justice. They even make sure there is a piece of removable plastic between the pieces so the bottom, bigger piece doesn't get scratched during shipment. I was very please with the quality and appearance of this product and the way it was packaged.

Purchased 2 of these for Christmas for two good friends whom are in different states it's a lovely little keepsake.
