Fabulous mug. I’ve used it in really cold weather and it keeps tea and coffee red hot . Best mug I’ve ever used.

Used for coffee at work when on early shifts. Doesn’t keep drinks hot for more than about 30 minutes even with heating mug first. Definitely not leakproof but that’s stated in the description so no problem. The mug is stable and the lid fits well to keep the drink clean which is why I chose it. The handle is a good size and is well balanced so I can hold it easily whilst carrying stuff.

This is the perfect sized mug for fitting under the canteen hot drinks machines, holds the right amount of fluid that the machines dispense at college. We bought 3. No wobbles as you set it down due to level base that is wide. Lightweight to hold even when full. The hot chocolate still tastes good 10 minutes later.

I am annoyed with myself for not having scrutinized the description more. I bought this mug to bring porridge or coffee to work. Not only is it not dishwasher safe - I can live with that -, but it is not leak proof. There is even a sticker on it saying so. It also doesn't keep drinks warm for very long. Rather pointless for what I was going to use it for, this will sadly end up in the landfill soon. Somehow I doubt that it's a genuine Thermos.

The manufacture of this mug is not up to the standard I would expect of Thermos. It has a metal inner and a plastic outer and, like other reviewers, I found that water gets trapped in between the layers. This is despite following the instructions and handwashing it. At first it showed up as a thin film of condensation but after a few uses it became small droplets. Others have commented that this can rust the connecting strip between the two layers, and I believe it could also cause mould. Therefore I have returned it as faulty. This is disappointing because there is a lot to like about the mug. I like the colour and the size; it is lightweight, reasonably priced, and does the job of keeping your drink warm for longer. Thermos need to introduce better quality control.

Great for home or office use. Keeps my drinks hot for much longer than regular mugs, especially during winter. Btw, if you're after a good travel mug, then get a Thermos Stainless King Travel Mug.
