When the door closes is it still possible to open it from the outside until the key is used to lock it?

Hi If your door handle only has 1 spindle, then it will open from both sides, but if your door handles are two different levels then it will need the key

Is this product interchangeable with Yale centre gear box

The lockmaster has all its dimensions displayed on the amazon website where the lock is for sale. You will have to compare this with the dimensions of the Yale lock you have in mind.

To be correct for me,the 35mm distance from lock barrel centre to faceplate must include face plate.Should this include the plate on your measurement?

it is quite a while since I bought the lock , however I do recall that the instructions were correct and the fitting was successful .
