Young's Bentonite 100g

I made 2, 5litre demijohns of cider from my gardens Apple trees, I used this in one and after 6 days of rapid fermentation I cannot see any difference in clarity whatsoever. Now yes I'm pretty new to using this but its pretty self explanatory. I will try again next batch and come back to update this accordingly.Hope this helped 👍

Does exactly as expected

I have used this many times now in wine brews and some cider brews. As a finings additive for wine this clears from cloudy to clear in almost all applications in 24 hours. I use 4 teaspoons diluted in 1L warm water and add in over an hour to ensure proper mix in a 5 gal brew and it never fails to clear. I highly recommend if you have a need for a good clearing agent. For crystal finish repeat treatment or use secondary finish after 2nd rack off.
