There is no adjustment for distance. **Q: Is there an option to have the light turned on and off aswell as pir mode??** A: It depends on the way you wire it in, an electrician would know. We have a switch in the hall by the front door. When it is in the off position the light works on the pir for security purposes, when we switch it to the on position the light comes on to welcome the arrival of expected visitors and stays on until switched off. I have had several lights over the years and did not want to drill yet more holes in the wall, so I shaped part of a decking board to shed water and look attractive with a coating of waterproof paint and fixed it to the existing holes with a cut-out for the wiring which I filled with sealant to protect the wiring.
