SteltonCollar Espresso Maker, Steel, Black, 17.5 x 10.5 x 16.5 cm

Classic design- classically cheaply made & badly designed!MINUS 20 STARS!This is a beautiful simple design - it reeled me in. Shame that it is;-Made cheaply - I stupidly assumed that it was cast iron because it is matt black but actually its just steel sprayed with black paint which starts coming off the moment you start using it. BAD-Badly designed - the base is so small even with a gas ring reducer it still feels precarious. I feel I have to hold onto it while its doing its thing because if could easily fall over pouring scalding coffee all over the place. BADand has a lid that gets hot and then falls of when you are pouring the coffee out unless you hold onto it but its hot so it burns...because it is not actually connected to the pot itself.... ummm this is a really stupid bit of BAD design.Groan....I would say it is a serious hazard and definitely 'not fit for purpose'.AVOID and save yourself a chunk of money (its also got one of those stupid 'designer' prices....JEEZ)
