Revell Monogram 1:32 UDT Boat with Frogmen Model Kit

A very quick easy build with not too many parts for a beginner. Detail is pretty good considering it's vintage. They use a 1950's mould, and this is really thick styrene with virtually no flash. An interesting option to the more common LCVP kits, with the addition of frogmen and a dinghy. This boat design predated that improved design of landing craft and I wish it had the hinged front ramp, so that I didn't have to get the razor saw our and start cutting it up lol.

First Revell model purchase....and last, awful molding, big and clunky, terrible detail. No reflection on seller, glad model was just a tenner.

Lovely little model at a great price. Not too detailed but looks great in my sea diorama.

I built this kit as a kid and it turned out to be a favorite model and also a great bath time toy. It hasn't been available for many years but now it is back from the past. It is a relatively easy kit to build with your child and also fun in the tub because it floats. Guaranteed to add frogman fun and lengthen your child's bath time. Most pieces are large and they fit together very well. It is not a highly detailed model but then neither was a landing craft. The kit looks great built.

Arrived on time. Just as I remembered it when I was younger. A simple kit that can be detailed to your hearts content. Can be used in many dioramas at various times and places. Great kit.
