This copper tube was perfect for the job. I am working on some pool stuff and this was just what I needed.

It's copper. It's good copper. It's expensive copper.

I recommend anyone needing 1/2 inch tube to not buy this . The diameter is oversized and a tubing nut or ferrule will not fit on the tube . It is aggravating as hell using sandpaper to get it small enough to actually use .

The seller wraps the copper in foam casing that keeps the copper nice and polished looking. The baggies the copper is then places in are labeled to help keep up with the sizes which is nice since I use various sizes for my projects. Very professional and fast.

For "decorative" use, these should be thought of more as "rough" material as the 4 that I received had more of a raw looking appearance (in the sense of having an almost microscopic texture versus a once polished surface that has simply oxidized).As for size ... all 4 are within reasonable tolerances, but visually, they all look as if they all have a slightly different diameter. My guess is these were simply from 2 or 3 different batches because when I broke out the calipers, they're all within 0.2mm.If you need high precision machining tolerances or if you want tubes with a glassy smooth (polished) finish, my limited experience would think a different product might be a better choice. I gave 4 stars because they're suitable for my use (decorative way of hiding some 24g wires while providing a bit an industrial / streampunk look)

Anyone into Speaker building forget tube connectors. These are the deal. These fit a standard banana plug. Absolutely perfect. Nothing like a pure copper transfer from the back of the amplifier straight to your crossoversWith the 5 mm drillbit, these things press in really snug, just solder your hook up wire to the inside end , you can do 6 sets of speakers for about $8 depending on how long you cut them

Working with AC. Found this size copper pipe is not carried at the local big box store. AC measures the copper differently than "water" copper. This fits a ¾ AC copper.
