I'm not sure what the difference is between the more expensive boxed version (same weight), or the slightly more expensive "beige" version. I've used every single beige sculpey version out here, from older to newer productions. If you're looking for an easy clay to make dolls out of, or even end up fully painting whatever you make with acrylic paints (think figurines, beads etc), this is the stuff for you. Mixes very well with high-pigment polymer clay like FIMO! Especially cool if you're stuggling to condition old and dry FIMO (Bake it per Sculpey's instructions but, +- 5 minutes longer)

Love sculpy. Unfortunately not the one I ordered . The arrival of the product was very speedy, however, no good when it’s the wrong one.

My daughter has been looking for a plague doctor figure and since her birthday is coming up I figured I would try to make her one being that I like to be creative so after watching several YouTube videos I came across one that recommended the super sculpey clay and I bought it and I was so surprised with the amount of clay that was in the package and it's really easy to work with I've never used clay before and it was a breeze .that YouTube tutorial that I watched to make a plague doctor showed a lot of good tips and tricks to of molding the clay and really gives you an idea of what you can actually do with this stuff so I'm excited to order more and make more different little sculptures and things. it's really cool if you're looking to make custom pieces and it baked really easily and I painted over it and everything was just wonderful

Bis dato habe ich mit anderem Clay wie Fimo usw. gearbeitet, aber das leidige Kneten ...... und richtig geschmeidig wurde der Clay auch nicht. Heute habe ich dieses Clay probiert für Gnomehände und es ist wirklich gut, lässt sich relativ leicht "erwärmen" und formen, ist nicht bröselig und mir gefällt das Material. Viel Modellierwerkzeug habe ich nicht benötigt, eine Stricknadel hat ausgereicht um Finger, Daumen, Handballen usw. auszumodellieren. Die Farbe passt sehr gut zu Gesicht und Extremitäten, auch der Preis, gemessen an der Schwere des "Riegels" ist angemessen.
