LAMEL Smartskin Brightening Concealer - Infused with Hyaluronic Acid - Age Rewind, Moisturizing, Vegan Formula - Brightening & Protection, 402-0,5 fl.oz

This is a review of “LAMEL Smartskin Brightening Concealer… 401-0,5 fl.oz.”This concealer works fine. I wouldn’t describe it as “brightening,” but I suspect I need a slightly lighter color (this was the lightest available). It was a little strange to apply with the puff at the end of the applicator. You swipe the concealer on after squeezing it out through the puff. I didn’t think I would be able to get enough concealer through the puff, but it worked fine. I rubbed it in with my fingers like I usually do. The concealer didn’t really cover the circles under my eyes - but nothing really does. Layering makeup just emphasizes the wrinkles so I need a light coverage that is pretty opaque. This is probably not it for me, but I think it would work fine for skin tones darker than mine without a ton of fine lines.

I have started using more of these blurring/brightening types of concealers lately for acne scars and they tend to work quite nicely, as long as you get the right shade and moisturize before hand. I found the same was true for this one, in that if I use it without moisturizer it just settles into fine lines and looks dry.This is a nice, lightweight concealer, but I had to apply in layers to get decent coverage. I get better coverage with my No7 version with a single application.Also, I’m not a big fan of the built-in applicator. You can easily end up with too much product on the skin and it doesn’t blend as well as using your fingers.Bottom line: good for bright, semi-transparent coverage, but bad for anyone with dry skin or needing fuller coverage.

Very lightweight concealer, not exactly what I want for the bags under my eyes. I used it as a base and then put foundation over. It worked.The tip of the concealer has a sponge attached to use as a built in applicator. After getting a feel for how much product to use, it works as an applicator and blender.Not my favorite concealer but not bad enough to throw it away.

This Lamel concealer is on the right track in that it's an easy to apply product, being a bit on the thin side with a pouf-ended tube for application. However, the pigments are rather light and it takes a few layers of building to get coverage for dark circles. There is a slight illuminating effect, not sparkly, but definitely brightening without looking cakey. Unfortunately, because there are layers, it ends up creasing with time. This may work if only a light amount is needed, but for darker circles or discoloration, it may need to be reformulated with a denser pigment for better coverage.

I have mature skin. I also have super dark circles around my eyes. This concealer goes on nicely on top of my moisturized and primed eye area. It sits nice and doesn't accentuate my eye crinkles. However, it didn't to a very good job of neutralizing my dark circles. It's a very light coverage concealer. Nothing completely covers my dark circles, so though I hope for a miracle product, I didn't expect one. It did brighten my overall eye area though, so it does have a place in my makeup box. Would be excellent as a highlighter and it plays well with dry, mature skin.

The LAMEL Smartskin Brightening Concealer is more of a very light coverage foundation than a concealer. I like that it’s infused with Hyaluronic Acid that acts as an anti-aging and moisturizing product. What I don’t care for is how tiny a tube this is and how thin is the liquid. It matches my skin tone and it’s light weight but it doesn’t do much for coverage and doesn’t cover the dark circles under my eyes at all. It’s too small an amount to actually use as a foundation and too light a coverage to use as a concealer. I’m just not that thrilled it’s this stuff.

I do like how easily this concealer is to apply. The sponge tip applicator is a new design for me. A little bit goes a long way so don't squeeze to hard when using. I don't buy into the age rewind claims -- it did not make my skin look younger but that is advertise for you. At less than $9 for 1/2 ounce it is more than other concealers. Would still recommend for how easy it is to apply and how well it conceals.

I like the applicator, I just wish it was a bigger tube of product. The color is ok, I am very pale but in the summer months this may work well for my base color- definitely not like a brightening shade on me for my under eye area. Blends well, just wish I had more product.
