If there were ratings for: softness, I'd give it an incredible 10/10. Ratings for ability to stay in place while in use, 8/10 (on top of poly/cotton comforter.) The "mink" or velour type textured backing helps with that. Size: 9/10 fits well across my my queen bed with no overhang and bottom up to pillows . Non-shedding: so far, 10/10. Warmth: hard to put a number on that but it is definitely comfortable. I don't overheat with it on top of my regular bedding any more than with any other blankets. Weight: light (as compared to wool or bulky blankets); probably not what you'd want as a weighted blanket though the softness is so much like animal fur that it offers a different sense of comfort and peace. I compared it to a different brand furry type blanket (Madison) that is smaller, 9/10 for softness but too slippery with same back as front, 3/10; constantly slipped off the bed; shedding: 8/10.I have not tested this (Berkshire) for maintaining these qualities after washing.Suggestions for the manufacturer: I think it would be great if it is offered in solids colors and more patterns like animal prints. And for the advertiser: let people know how silky soft it is!

I bought a bunch of these at Ross, but they ran out and I love them so much I got this one too. They are so crazy soft and cozy and comfortable. I love them! So do my dogs.

I got this to replace another throw that was quite long enough for my 5'11 self. This one is perfect. It does shed just a little, but it's so warm I don't care.

Very happy with the throw. So soft, my granddaughter is going to love it!!!
