Fun toy for my cat
I decided to buy this pigeon for my cat in the hope that maybe she will stop hunting them in the garden and bringing them in!! I made a tiny little hole and filled it with cat nip. Plus rubbed some in and I have to say that so far she is loving it!! I am sure I will still have lots of gifts brought in from her but at least she is having fun. It is made well and nice and soft. I do think that unless a child particularly loves pigeons then it really a cuddly toy at the top of the shopping wish list.

Well made - and life size...
There's some irony behind this life size soft plush pigeon toy from Defender Bird Spikes. They must be the best known supplier of bird spikes, largely with the aim of defeating pigeons, in the UK.Given the info on the detachable tag, I'm guessing this pigeon was originally produced as a marketing aid to promote Defender's primary product and as such, I'm sure it works brilliantly.But it's also very well made. It has no problems standing unaided - won't fall over unlike some soft toy birds. It's a good size and children will love it especially as pigeons are likely to be one of the most familiar of birds to be found in our public spaces. So prevalent, they're a real success story and their history dates back over 5,000 years. This particular pigeon is hand washable.

Hard wearing
Defender the plush fluffy pigeon is an amazing soft toy for kids. My 10-year-old son received it as a gift and he loves it! The realistic look and feel of the toy makes it so much more special than any other cuddly toy. The grey color is so cute and matches the actual color of a pigeon. My son's favorite part is shooting it with his BB gun. The material is tough enough to handle the rough play and still look good as new. I would definitely recommend this toy to any kid who loves soft toys and some fun playtime.

Lovely for a bird fancier!
This is such a lovely soft toy. I thought it would make a lovely cat toy sprayed with catnip for my Maine Coon cat. I can’t give it to him, it will get ruined. It is very realistic, a life like size, soft and a lovely size for a small child to cuddle, or as a present for a pigeon racer. If I were still teaching, I would add this to the collection of soft toy birds I accumulated over the years and add it to a Spring time display of birds and insects. This theme is done by a lot of schools, especially the Early Years and this soft toy would make a great addition to teach children about the Natural World and its biodiversity.
