First - I was either sent an incorrect size by mistake, or the size chart is wrong and you need to size down. Based on other reviews, I think I was sent the wrong size (which I will be returning).However! It's GREAT quality for the price. There are 3 rows of front hooks, so you can adjust the level of tightness as needed - so if you need it looser on your hips but tighter on your waist, you can do that with the hooks alone.The 2 belts have velcro across most of it, so you can adjust that a lot. Having 2 belts vs 1 also gives you more control.The shoulder straps did not fit me due to incorrect sizing so I won't comment on it.Potential downsides- the neoprene is very thin. This could be a positive if you plan on exercising in it, but since it's so thin, there was almost no compression in the back, and most of it was focused in the front. Since its too big for me a correct size might offer correct compression, but since the belt only wrapped around the front vs all around, I think it will still be 100% front focused, if you're looking for back support/compression garment/full waist slimming vs just holding your front and sides in.Overall, quality is incredible for the price, and there's a lot of flexibility for different body types. I will reorder it in my correct size

I bought large and medium just to see which one would fit better. I am 5’7 200lbs. I have a long torso. I tried on the large and it was easy to hook on my own to the first hook isle. It did not snatch me right. The medium was way harder to hook on my own to the first row. But when completely hooked it snatched me so good! The only thing is since my torso is long and I have hips it first felt like it would roll up. I took the medium for a test run to my dance practice class and it held up!! I was actually complemented on how it made me look like I had a glass figure ! Will be using it till it gives out!! Large is being returned.

Buy one size bigger than what you are im a 2x But got a 3x cause I didn’t know how it would come but it is perfect size .. a little snug but that’s how it supposed to be

I’ve bought many of these and they always do the job. Although this last one I’ve gotten hasn’t. It doesn’t really suck everything in like it normally does. Not sure what the problem is because it is indeed the right size. Anyway other than that definitely get you one of these! They’re the best!

Got mine today. I am pleasantly surprised! It’s a very comfortable material. Easy to put on! Exactly as described!! I just showed my sisters and they said they are going to order one

The media could not be loaded.  I’m very happy with this waist trainer so far. I’m 5’6 225-230lbs and I ordered a XL. It was super tight when I ordered it so you’ll have to get used to it. It’s definitely long enough to cover my “apron”. I wished the straps were a little longer and I wished it had a neoprene lining to make you sweat more but overall I’m happy. Go get you one. It’s definitely a great product!

This trainer fits well ordered a 3x it definitely tightens and helps support posture. Just got it and haven’t started working out in it yet but I feel like it will definitely help. I thing I noticed I don’t like how it fits and the bottom. It rolls up a bit.
