From the very moment I unboxed this package, I could tell that this was going to be an exceptional experience. Lifting the box lid off, you're presented with a very thoughtful layout of packets, clearly identifying the fragrance chosen. It's easy to open and the bath salts trickle into the tub creating not only a spa-like atmosphere, but one that instantly places you in a state of relaxation. My heart rate dropped every so slightly while my mind drifted as I soaked.Highly recommended as gifts. I have a feeling they're going to sell out, so I bought 6 boxes. (I may need more :))

Everything about these bath salts feels high quality! The packaging is beautiful and each “serving” of salt is in a separate package. It’d make a lovely gift. The salt itself is dyed a red color, and the ingredients are clearly stated.However, I found that the scent was relatively light and faded quickly. I decided to add a second packet to the bath water which really helped, but it seems like these might be a little on the small side. For the cost per ounce I’d expect an extremely fragranced product or a slightly bigger amount in each packet.I have the cedar wood scent so I can’t speak to the other flavors, maybe they’re a little stronger. It’s also worth noting that while the product description says “4 scents” you only get one, that just refers to the fact that you can choose from the 4.Overall I think this would make a really impressive gift, and it definitely feels luxurious. Just know that you might have to use more than called for to get a really strong scent experience.

These come in a nice gift box and are individually packaged. I feel like the package is very small, however, and I am used to using much larger quantities of Epsom salts in my water, so I was a little surprised about the size. I got cedarwood and it turns your water pink, which I find a little odd and unnecessary. I don't believe the added color helps me relax and just makes me think of what they added to the ingredients to get this strong color... The smell is nice, but not very potent. Overall, I like the idea and the presentation, but it did not really help me relax that much in the bath, not did I feel a difference in how my skin or muscle felt.

So, to start, the product title on this item is a bit misleading as there are four scents available, but the sets are of a single scent, so you cannot get a single box and expect all four of the advertised scents. The Cedar Wood is a lovely scent. It is very heavily colored. When I poured the packet into the tub, it was a really deeply concentrated, deep red and sank to the bottom of the tub. I was honestly thinking that I would end up with a pink splotch in the middle the tub, but gladly it did not stain. If you don't like to feel the salts in the tub, give yourself a moment before you get into the tub. I have found that pouring them under the running water when you are about 1/3 full of your bath works best. I like the scent, it is strong and the bath is relaxing. The packets themselves are small, 1.4 oz each. If I were pricing these per packet, I would not go over $2, which makes the price point on these very high.

If you have a family member, friend, coworker or even yourself, that's stressed, this is an excellent gift - the gift of relaxation. Just fill a tub with warm or hot water and mix these salts in. Wait a little until they're dissolved, stir a little and hop in. The color is red and some may find this off-putting - like your in some horror movie. It's not that bad and does have some pinkish hues to it. It smells great - I am a big fan of cedarwood. The individual packets are a nice touch too - no scooping or pouring the salts out. Really, about the only cons I can think of are the red dye - there really isn't a need for it, and the price - it is a little steep at almost $30. If you can handle being in a horror movie set, then these cedarwood salts are great.
