It is warm but also has several mesh panels which do a great job at regulating heat. I wouldn’t wear it in sub-zero temperatures but it’s good for a normal cold day. Best part is the compression. It’s the firmest I’ve tried, very supportive, really helps with elbow pain. The fit is good. Only room for improvement I can think of is I’d recommend the manufacturer add a grippy material on the bottom hem - the bottom of it can ride up your stomach with movement but this seems to be quite common with tighter garments, I’ve had it much worse on more expensive and looser tops.
