Works well for my Canon T3i.
The media could not be loaded. I originally wanted to use this battery replacement for timelapse photography but I also use it to prolong my livestreaming. Even when adding extra batteries it was still not enough for the stream that regularly goes on for more than an hour. This is best solution so far. It is well constructed, fits perfectly into the Canon T3i, the USB connection makes it easy and versatile for most situations. You can connect it directly into your pc then into the camera and it will power it up, you can connect a USB power bank or just plug it into the wall with a usb power converter.I'm happy with the longevity of power when using this for time-lapse photos. For livestreaming it has worked without any issues. I have included a short video for you to see exactly how to connect this to your camera. Also included are photographs of what it looks like out of the box. Hope this is helpful to you, if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help you.

A MUST HAVE for DSLR Film Makers!
If you film with a Canon DSLR, this is a MUST have! I've been filming with DSLR's for very many years. In fact, I started with the Canon T2i and was nominated for a Stellar Award for the Vickie Winans' "Release It" music video that was shot with the T2i. Back then, DSLR's were very new and there weren't many accessories available for them. Things have since changed and products like this help to allow DSLR film makers to get the job done at a much less expensive cost.I don't film much with DSLR's these days, though I do still own a few of them, for that reason I did purchase several of these to use with USB external batteries. Because this allows you to connect the camera to a USB port, the cost for usable external batteries is VERY reasonable and you can get far more filming time out of the USB batteries than you are able to from the standard batteries for the camera.

No more worrying about running out of battery charge!
I got this to be able to mount my Canon SLR permanently on my desk as a high-end webcam for making videos and for video calls for work. It works great for this, although at first I could not find the flap on the side of the camera for the cord to pass through, and it won't power the camera without the battery door being shut. So I was trying to wedge things on the little button inside the battery door to trick it, but it was very annoying to get to work until I found that little rubber flap. Look closely if you're having trouble: I think most cameras should allow for this kind of product.

Works as advertised
With this I can now take pictures of the clouds and stars, as well as just normalphotography and not stop to change the battery for a long time. I use on of those large capacity batteries for charging cell phones I take pictures almost two days with out charging it.Doesn't seem like a lot just reading words, but I do a lot of time laps photography at intervals ranging from seconds to 1 seconds. and some times rapid burst 5-10 frames in just a few seconds repeatedly.

Works fine but I wish it came with adapter
It looks like this product is reasonably priced but it does not come with a power adapter compared to other ones which do come with a power adapter for under 22 USD. Overall, this has been working fine and I hope it does not break. For folks who are buying this, you'll need an adapter, the laptop's power supply won't be enough. Also, read the instructions on what type of adapter to get to make sure you don't damage you DSLR.I wish this product had Type C PD input. It would automatically takes care of the voltage and won't damage the DSLR even if you attach it to a high output adapter by mistake.

Won't work, awful product
Won't work, even when plugged into the correct usb power brick. Save yourself some time and money and buy a dummy battery that plugs into the wall.

Works great!
Works perfectly in my Rebel T3i. I have uploaded a video of it. Ran it off my computers usb port perfectly fine, no buzzing noise when recording and flash recharge is the same as runing a normal battery! I reccomend this for anyone trying to do long exposure time lapses etc. I personally got it to use my camera as a webcam!
