I wasn't anticipating the semi gloss texture.

Wish they weren't glossy because it takes a long time for markers to dry. Loved them otherwise!

These paper cutouts are coated which makes them slightly shiny. If water gets on them they discolor around the edges. Seemed poor quality to me compared to others I have used in the past.

I have used these multicultural faces for over ten years as a classroom teacher - the first activity we do is to make ourselves and these faces, which used to be made of construction paper, were perfect for the kids to use with crayons or markers for their self-portrait.When I unwrapped this new package yesterday, I discovered the faces are now made of shiny/glossy cardstock-like paper that cannot be easily drawn on. They are essentially useless now... I hope Creative Shapes goes back to the old multicultural faces ASAP! :(

I dislike the fact that I thought it will be bigger and they ended up being a little small.
