Too think for a Bb clarinet
I got these as a quick solution to replace the cork around my clarinet - they are far too thick. They may work for other instruments, but not a Bb clarinet. (I have a Buffet Crampon if it helps!).Not fit for purpose sadly.

Fitted perfectly.
Make sure you get the right size. Check out UTube for fitting. Chamfered edge to get a better seal on overlaid cork. Very pleased with seal.

Good value
I used a strip to recork a tenor recorder joint, and with great success. Good quality cork. It turned out that the strips were exactly the right width and length for that job. The cork had to be sanded down a bit and I found a Dremel ideal for the job. However I have a clarinet with joints that needs recorking and the strips are just too short AND too narrow, unless I cut and match strips, which is a real fiddle. Perhaps I'll find some larger strips somewhere else for the clarinet.

Physical dimensions of Cork strips
I used the material to redo the joints on a Bb Clarinet. The material used is adequate but the overall dimensions could be better. Which ever joint they are used for, the cork needs to be reduced in thickness following application. This is not a serious issue, but a material of less caliber would make it make it more flexible and easier to apply. My main reason for a low rating is the fact that I needed more than one strip to complete the clarinet bell joint as the strips are shorter in length than the circumference of that joint.

wrong dimensions for clarinet tenons - should not be sold as clarinet cork
I needed to recork the bottom tenons on each of the two long clarinet joints. For the bottom joint (where the bell attaches), the strips are not long enough - I had to flatten one with a rolling pin to get it to the right length. Even after that it was far to thick for the bell to attach, so I had to use an electric sander on it!For the other joint, no length issues but the thickness was an even bigger issue - again, I had to go over it with a sander. There's nothing wrong with the cork itself, but selling it as "clarinet neck cork joint" is misleading.
