Great book!

I've been a fan of the Dr. Adam Elmegirab's Bitters line for years, (particularly the dandelion and burdock) so when I finally heard about this book I ordered it immediately. I have several books on Bitters, and none of them top this. It offers a comprehensive history, wonderful recipes, and above all...REAL, PRACTICAL ADVICE for making your own bitters! I personally think it's quite refreshing to have a book on the subject that isn't written like a 'Complete Idiots Guide.' This is an essential reference for the serious cocktail/spirits enthusiast, professional and amateur alike, so don't think twice! Santé!

Anticipating this book’s release was painstakingly an anxious wait. Adam creates great product, but the title of his book is misleading. “Book of Bitters” DOES NOT contain a single recipe of creating Bitters. Only it’s history, and cocktails that call for Bitters being used.This is a huge disappointment. I understand someone will not release their own recipes for the products they sell, -this man has a business- but really, Adam? Not even a single recipe for creating any type of Bitters whatsoever?If you’re expecting history on Bitters and various cocktail recipes, buy this book.If you’re expecting recipes of Bitters, look elsewhere.
