it goes from 20" to 26-27" - very versatile and comfortable, and the back is supportive.

How portable is this? Can you take off the seat to transport?

Yes. It’s comes in a box fully disassembled. You have to assemble it yourself. So, you can disassemble it again or just purchase it at your new location.
