YaleUpvc Door Lock G2000 Case Gear Box Twin Spindle Only 35mm Backset (G:1406)

Had an issue with the door for a long time and after some googling worked out what was wrong! It was easy to order this part and it was perfect and easy to fit! Door fixed!

Our lock broke meaning we couldn't leave the house and lock the door .I ordered this as a quoted a direct replacement and it was perfect .Great service

Bit fiddly but managed to replace my broken lock on uPVC sliding door.

I needed to replace the old gear box with this and it was an easy thing to do. Perfect fit and worked out of the box.

This door lock mechanism was ideal. I saved over £100 by fitting it myself using a YouTube tutorial.

Giving this 5 stars because it's so cheap. Don't expect the same quality as Yale though, infact I had to replace one of the case screws from my old one since the screw had been overtighten and lost its thread. I also wasn't that impressed with the amount of grease applied so I dabbed quite a bit extra on the mechanism. That said the door is now working perfectly.

I ordered this to replace my existing gearbox as it failed. I am under no illusion that this is a genuine Yale product - how could you as it cost £17 where Genuine Yale gearbox cost £65 plus. Also the seller does not claim it to be a genuine one but to fit Yale G2000 (Compatible). Despite that however you know what it fits, works just as good. Can buy 4 of these for the price of a genuine one. Very chuffed and would buy again.Plenty of videos on the well known video site on how to change the gearbox. To take out the full thing and replace 15 mins and door was good as new. Just to point out I had to reverse the latch as it was supplied for a door that has the handle on the right and hinges on the left whereas mine has the opposite - handle on the lift and hinges on the right
