Great for my chicken coop
I had previous used the straw-look nesting pads for my chickens, but they would get so dusty and dirty and disintegrate that I ended up having to throw them away. I saw some people used turf squares for their chickens and said they could hose them off or shake them out when they got dirty, so I decided to give it a try. It's been great! They scratch at it as they nest but it's still holding up well.

feels nice wish was cheaper and sown together
squares are small. if it was 1 larger roll would make more sense.. the feel is nice, prolly woulda been better off buying a doormat

I am a coach and got this as a gag gift for the boys who "love" our turf gym.This comes rolled on a thick cardboard tube and plastic wrapped. There is a strong smell when opened that doesn't really go away with time although it does lessen a bit. This would probably be best used outside. The "grass" is longer than I expected and a bit sparser, but it will work for my needs. I think it would depend on the animal whether they would like it.The bottom wasn't really "thick" rubber, but it works to keep them mostly in place as long as they are on concrete and not a slick surface like tile.The green is a nice color, although it is obviously not real grass, it isn't the bright fake green of other turfs either.

Looks realistic
Great product, just make sure you follow instructions on putting it outside to get it to fluff up like real grass…. Makes a world of difference. We used this in a habitat for our sugar glider and it definitely has a real feel to it. Velcro it in and you can take it out and hose it off for a quick clean.

Do not buy if you live where it snows
Read the warning on my photo that came with product, also read precautions.I would never use this I am glad I only got a sample.

Perfect for a Classroom
I bought these artificial grass squares for my pre-k classroom. I placed them in the block center. My students build houses, farms, castles, etc. on top of these squares. I definitely recommend adding these to your block center!

Good Quality
The quality is great. I got it for my chickens. I can’t say that they love it but it’s good quality.
