AcuRite Wind Sensor Extension Atlas Weather Station, White

This is my second accu rite weather station. The first one lasted about 10 years and performed magnificently until the very end. It was reliable, accurate and easy to use. Now I’ve upgraded to the accur rite Atlas model and decided to get the extension for the wind meter as well as the battery pack and the lightning module. I received all the packages and at first I thought oh my gosh what did I get myself into!? Once I unpacked everything starting with one package at a time I realized - oh this is pretty easy!!! The instructions were clear, simple, and everything was easy to put together and place onto a pole. It connected to the display automatically and I didn’t have to do a thing. Updating the day date, etc. was very quick and easy. To connect it to the Internet was simple and quick and took me only a couple of minutes. It actually took me longer to get my Wi-Fi going than it did to connect the accu rite Atlas weather display to the Internet so now I also get tomorrow’s forecast as well as current information at my home. I would recommend the accurate Atlas model with the battery pack and any other accessories you think fit your needs. I’m very happy with their product. The product works so well that I’ve never had to contact their support for anything, and I think that’s a really good thing - that they have support, but I think it’s a better thing that I don’t have need for the support!!

La más completa para iniciarse en meteorología, muchos parámetros con lecturas precisas para un monitoreo constante del clima. Algo cara cómo para ser tu primera estación pero vale cada peso invertido! No es un "juguete" e iniciarás en un nivel profesional! Pero para ello SÍ será necesario esmerarse en montarla a una buena altura con un tubo adecuado de por lo menos 4 metros (de cédula, NO conduit), bien anclado y firme para evitar caidas con fuertes vientos. Se verá increíble desde lejos! Limpiala cada 3 meses del polvo y crea tu cuenta en WU para que transmitas a todo el mundo tus datos y colabores con tu pronóstico de área!

I love my weather station. This is the perfect addon! I even extended it by another 3 feet using a metal pipe and it looks very impressive, plus I get very accurate readings. I know when the North wind blows now, especially in the winter when it's the coldest!
