I was expecting to hear a distortion type tone that "sounds good" but is not so professional in this pedal, and I am very happy to see that it is not like that, it has an incredible tone, and the options it gives make it too versatile, plus the Size and look make it the perfect pedal for a small pedalboard, which is what I want to have. I recommend it 100% for this price

Excellent pedal. Way fuller than other distortion pedals I’ve tried. Description is definitely correct- it really sounds like an overdriven high gain tube amp. I can’t pinpoint the amp it most closely resembles, I just know it sounds really good. I play thru a Joyo Zombie 2 which is a dual rectifier clone. I love the overdrive channel but now realize I’m playing this Blademaster way more than my amp’s od channel as well as my other overdrive/distortion pedals. I’m not an expert on explaining pedals. I just know I’ve been playing for 35 years and I would definitely use this pedal playing live shows. It’s way, way better sounding than I expected.

It's a good classic od/dist. A little dark for my particular amp and because of that there's other classic plexi-tone pedals I prefer. Probably way better voiced for a bright sounding amp like a silverface fender, or maybe the thinner sound of a10" speaker or something. The boost function is second to none. So good in fact I wish they'd couple the same circuit as a Tone City Golden Plexi 2 with this Boost function. Now that would be an incredible drive/boost plexi-tone budget friendly pedal.

Sounds good. Similar to a bass driver. Only issue is the di signal is too weak. Fix that and this is a winner.

This is a super cool pedal. You can use it in a very vanilla sense, or you can lay it on and make some beautiful nasty noise.

This bass pedal is very similar to a Tech21 SansAmp. I think I will get some good use out of it. The construction seems robust, with a solid, lightweight metal casing and the dials have a quality feel to them. The dials are straight forward, just turn them until I like what I’m hearing. It reproduces classic 70s SVT tones pretty well using my old Fender P bass. It does have a mid-scoop which some people may not like but can be tamed by dialing back on the bass and treble knobs accordingly.The only caveat here is that a DC power supply must be purchased separately. I bought a D’Addario DC 9V power supply and it works perfectly.I own other JOYO pedals and I have liked them all. This one is no exception.Highly recommended.
