Installed this grab bar for my dad after he started struggling with balance post-knee surgery. He was a bit sceptical at first, but now he won't stop telling everyone how “solid” it feels. It’s made a real difference during his bathroom visits, and to be fair, it’s helped me worry less when he's up and about.We fitted it beside the loo, and the fold-down design is brilliant. It stays out the way when not needed and doesn’t take up half the wall. The grip feels sturdy and slightly textured, which is great because Dad’s hands aren’t what they used to be. We’ve even hung a towel on it once or twice, which wasn’t the plan but worked out well.Installation wasn’t too tricky, though the wall plugs were a bit fiddly. Took me a second go to get them flush. Still, once it was in, it felt as secure as anything.Feels proper strong, looks neat, and has done exactly what we needed. Good price for what is it. I give it my recommendation.

Great grab bar for the toilet - we recently had to overhaul our downstairs loo to make it more accessible, and even needed to install a "Japanese toilet' at comfort height (that's an electronic spray bidet with a lot of features). The pieces to this bar set are sturdy, heavy, well built and look professional, like something I'd see in a disabled loo in a high end establishment.Good value for money and easy to fit if you have only the most basic DIY skills like I do. Do the job and make using the loo for a disabled person much easier. Great combo of form and function - very pleased with this and great value for money if you can install it yourself.
