I bought two of these cases to replace the broken key flip buttons on my old fobs. I successfully transferred the key blade by punching out the scroll pin on each fob.I fitted new duracell batteries and refitted the circuit boards but the central locking would no longer work, After hours of experimenting with pairing I read an article saying that non original key cases have a problem with the battery terminals. I tried the CBs in the old cases and the central locking worked.I tried bending the terminals on the new cases to no success and finally decided to transfer the old terminals to the new cases by prising them very carefully of the plastic pin. Bingo the central locking worked immediately for both. Clearly there is a design problem with the termionals on these cases and they do not work as presented.With a little ingenuity and careful work you can get a good outcome from these cases. You need to have a degree of technical ability to do this.

Fitted my 2009 berlingo key perfectly. It was a bit tricky getting the pin out of the original key to swap it into the new one, but got there in the end and everything works as it should. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that doesn’t work is the middle button which I think is for remote physical lifting of the boot, but that’s because my car doesn’t support that feature.

This would get 5 stars and I'm probably being picky but this would be perfect if it came with the Citroen badge/logo in place. Instead you get a square empty space where the badge should be. That aside, I swapped out the original key and innards from the original and it works perfectly.

Perfect for my requirements. Switched circuit board over from my old key. Most difficult was swapping key over but with a bit of patience it was done easily enough. Remove pin insert, swap over and replace pin insert. Hammer and nail required.

Great buy at a fraction the price Citroen wanted to replace both my original key fobs. I have been making do taping the spare fob together as the case is parting. The first fob fell apart when I was fueling up and I lost the tiny spring. If you have sausage fingers like me, you will need a little patience when changing the key blade over; the tiny split pin is difficult to swap and you have to be careful not to damage the case. Overall a great buy and I have just ordered a second fob to replace my original; fingers crossed, they pass the test of time 👌

This is presumably an updated version of the key fob on my wife's 56 plate C3. The key pin has a slightly different mechanism arrangement, but you can still use it with the old key pin. Now the tricky bit, to work properly I found that the spring had to be pre-tensioned anticlockwise by one turn. This proved very tricky indeed until I discovered that I could use the key pin supplied with the fob as a spanner to wind up the spring and pin mechanism. Even so this took about 10 minutes and several attempts. Once, assembled the fob and pin work fine and I would consider buying another if needed.

I tried to get pin out no luck we don’t think there is one in it either did my key cutter as he has a machine to do it , so went and got new key cut, them move over board but when I try to open or close my car the buttons don’t work so tried it use new part on bottom and old bit on with button that work they don’t fit together for my Citroen c2 2006.So I’m down £5.95 for key and £15.00 for key cut .

Terrible product, does not fit as a citroen C3 fob, I destroyed my original key in order to out the circuit in this which doesn't even fit! Shame on you for false advertisement! If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolute con, DO NOT BUY!
