The question cards a triva type like "what capital cities have the same first initial as their state". Another question that had to be answered was "give a sentence that uses all of the letters of the alphabet. All cards have a penalty if you fail to ans or get incorrect. **Q: is this the newest version. pic when I choose does not match original pic** A: looks just like the picture here! **Q: is this the newest version/pics of box do not match** A: The older version is much better in my opinion. The cards have a fun little "Quelf Effect" at the end, and there are characters to play with, instead of colored pawns. **Q: Can a six and 7 year old be able to play this game if they have adult help?** A: Well, the box indicates this is a Family game, age 12 & up, but I always think that's an arbitrary number. It depends on the child, how smart and knowledgeable, etc. Speaking for myself, I would try it out first and think about how to use or adapt it with the younger people. We gave it a test run before packing it and found ourselves laughing and having fun but I'm not sure it would work for our vacation of adults with small kids. The game is rated for 12+ but I'd recommend even older (15+). I think this game would appeal best to the college crowd. Also, more people playing equals more fun.There are 8 characters to choose from (super ninja monkey, Mr. Lugnut, Queen Spatula, etc.) and although it has colored coded categories like Cranium, they have a different spin. Each card has instructions with a Quelf Effect. Blue is Roolz (speak like a charismatic preacher every time you read a card aloud), purple is Showbiz (using interpretive dance as language, perform the following sentence), yellow is Stuntz (lick your elbow and then an opponent's elbow), red is Scatter Brainz (gives 2 topics to choose from to talk about - reasons you loved or had a crush on someone or reasons you have broken up with someone) and green is Quizzle (name the 3 ingredients of Tabasco Sauce). The instructions warn that if you do not think you can complete a card's instructions safely (?!) to just pick another one. This made us curious but have not found anything we considered dangerous so far.Before breaking out this board game, know your crowd since some of the the instructions can cause fights and some of the Quelf Effects are very silly. It's not a game for everyone but it is a lot of fun for the right crowd.
