In fact, I can only use them in one of my three table lamps. In that lamp (bought from ALDI) they are fine. I cannot use them in the other two lamps, both bought, I think, from IKEA. LATER: I think I know now what is the problem. The bulbs have an unusually long nose for the centre contact. On some E14 sockets the side contact extends only a short distance up the screw and the long nose prevents the bulb from being screwed in far enough to make electrical contact on the side. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They flicker ... *by C***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2019* Although beautifully bright, there is a noticeable flicker to the light these lamps emit.
